Rectorseal No. 5 (25551) is a professional-grade pipe thread sealant paste supplied in an 8 fl. oz. (1/2 pt) can. Recommended for threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass and PVC pipe. This soft-set, slow-drying compound seals, lubricates and protects threaded pipe and fittings and is suitable for a broad range of fluids and gases including potable water, natural gas and refrigerants. Typical working time is 24 hours, minimum work temperature -15 °F and maximum work temperature 400 °F. Material (sealant base): Diacetone Alcohol. Viscosity: 40000 cp.
