RectorSeal No. 5 Sub-Zero pipe thread sealant (Model 27651) is a low-odor, non-staining, soft-set thread sealant formulated for low temperature applications and brushable to -35°F. It lubricates and protects threaded pipe and fittings and permits easy break-out without damaging threads. Ideal for tradesmen in HVAC/R, plumbing and construction, this 1/2 pint brush-top formula is suitable for galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass and PVC (DO NOT USE ON ABS OR CPVC). The product is lead-free and contains no metal, making it suitable for potable water lines up to specified pressures and sizes. Package includes one 1/2 pint brush-top container.
