Lenox QXP Vari-Raker Bimetal Band Saw Blade, 1-1/4" x 0.042"

The Lenox QXP series bimetal band saw blade combines a vari-tooth design, high positive rake angle, and a vari-raker tooth set to deliver high-production metal cutting. Teeth are M-42 high-speed steel for heat and wear resistance, while the vari-raker set alternates left-leaning, right-leaning, and unset teeth to increase cutting rates. Variable pitch changes tooth size and gullet depth to reduce noise and vibration and to remove chips efficiently; deep gullets support efficient chip evacuation. Designed for cutting carbon steel, alloy steel, bearing steel, mold steel, tool steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other nonferrous materials, the blade handles solid shapes, cylindrical tubes and sheets. Series: QXP. Constructed as a bimetal blade for demanding metal cutting applications.
