Smart Battery Monitor BMV-712 from Victron Energy featuring built-in Bluetooth and VE.Direct communication for wireless monitoring and configuration with VictronConnect. Provides accurate measurement of battery voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed and state-of-charge, plus remaining time at the current rate of discharge. Includes a 500 Amp quick connect shunt and connection kit with shunt selection capability up to 10,000 Amps and high current measurement resolution of 10 mA (0.01A). Supports midpoint voltage monitoring, an additional input for battery temperature or a second battery voltage, a programmable visual and audible alarm, and a programmable relay to control non-critical loads or start a generator. Designed for easy installation with electrical connections to the quick connect PCB on the current shunt and RJ12 connection to the display; stores historical events to evaluate usage patterns and battery health. Low current draw preserves battery capacity and the bi-stable alarm relay prevents increased current draw in case of alarm.
