TEMPIL Tempilstik surface temperature indicators are compact, easy-to-use tools engineered for reliable surface temperature verification in welding preparation, inspection, and industrial temperature checks. Available in over 100 temperature ratings from 100°F to 2000°F (38°C to 1093°C), each Tempilstik melts at its designated temperature to provide a clear, visual indication. Tempilstiks are supplied with a unique slip-resistant metal holder specifically engineered for smooth operation and maximum user control. They deliver high precision (±1% of rated temperature), fast visual response, and are manufactured free of contaminants such as sulfur, lead and halogens. Tempilstiks meet preheat temperature requirements of AWS D1.1 and other welding code specifications and are provided as individual units (unit count: 1) for easy deployment on the job.
