Blue Sea Systems Automatic Charging Relay (ACR) Series

The Blue Sea Systems Automatic Charging Relay (ACR) series provides automatic battery bank management for marine and other battery-based systems. The family senses charging on two battery banks and automatically combines them during charging and isolates them during discharge to protect house and engine circuits. Models cover a wide range of continuous ratings and are available for 12V and 24V systems. Universal design highlights found across the series include LED indication of ACR status, insulated clip-on or snap-on covers to protect terminals, and robust terminal connections that accept multiple cable terminals. Select models offer Start Isolation (SI) to protect electronics during engine cranking, Engine Isolation (EI) configurations, Magnetic Latch (ML) versions with manual control and LOCK-OFF for servicing, hermetically sealed contacts, IP67-rated protection on some models, and remote LED/Contura switch outputs (ML-Series Remote Control Contura Switch PN 2146 on ML models). The series activates from charging sources such as alternators, chargers, and solar panels, and is designed to support high-output alternators and large battery banks where required.
