




BEP Remotely Activated Emergency Parallel Switch 12/24V

Emergency Parallel Switch for 12/24V systems providing remotely activated, high-current emergency battery paralleling to assist in engine starting. The unit is motorized and operated via a momentary button on the dash which parallels the batteries for up to 10 minutes, then automatically turns off to prevent flattening of start batteries. Constructed for marine use with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts and high temperature, fiber reinforced plastics; ignition protected and offering On/Off operation with a manual override option. The switch may be recessed or surface mounted and supports short-duration high current paralleling (up to 2500A for brief bursts as noted in variants). Available in different continuous amperage ratings (examples include 275A and 500A). In the box: Parallel Switch and Instruction manual. *Sold as an Individual.
