The 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS connector is more commonly known as the Headphone Jack. This Monoprice premium male-to-male audio cable uses 22AWG heavy-duty coaxial conductors with shielding to prevent EMI/RFI interference and gold-plated connectors for smooth, corrosion-free connections. Molded connector housings with strain relief boots provide long-lasting durability; cable construction and dimensions include cable thickness of 12mm x 6mm and connector housings approximately 41mm long x 15mm diameter as specified by the manufacturer. Because of their size and weight these cables are best suited for more permanent connections, such as from a PC to a sound system, and the connector head may be unsuited for use with some phone cases or tight expansion slot cutouts.
