The TRIPP LITE NetDirector IP KVM Switch family lets IT staff control multiple computers or servers from a single KVM console locally or remotely via LAN, WAN or the Internet. These 1U rack-mount units support USB and PS/2 connections using included cable kits and provide control via on-console pushbuttons, keyboard hotkeys, graphical on-screen display (OSD) and browser-based or non-browser clients (Windows- and Java-based). The switches support IPv4 and IPv6, remote authentication via RADIUS and LDAP/S, and multi-level security with account-based access. Advanced encryption technologies listed in the variant data (128-bit SSL, 128-bit RC4, 1024-bit RSA, 56-bit DES, 256-bit AES, 168-bit 3DES) help secure remote sessions. Features include OSD with multi-language display, remote management, daisy-chaining capability for expanded installations, and compatibility with major operating systems. Some variants list high-definition video support for local and remote consoles.
