When used as directed with the super-chlorination process, this water treatment system provides a high level of protection for the family from viruses, bacteria, and waterborne cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia lambia. The Everpure water treatment system uses a process called super chlorination/dechlorination. Ordinary household bleach is added to the storage tank, which kills bacterial or viral contaminants. Then the water is fine-filtered down to 1/2 micron to reduce the taste and odor of chlorine, as well as off-taste and odors.
